In Memory of those who will forever be in our hearts
In Memory of Our Founder, Allen A. Baggett
November 15, 1927 – June 3, 2013
Mr. Baggett started Southern Insurance in 1964. he was an insurance executive, entrepreneur, avid hunter, fisherman and community supporter! Those who had the privilege to work under Mr. Baggett have many fond memories and contribute a lot of their success to what he taught them. He was a mentor to many people and expected no praise in return. Still to this day, there is always a “Baggett” story to be told around the office.
In Memory of Our Spirited Partner & Friend, Keith Godwin
May 1, 1955 – February 4, 2012
Keith served as Vice President of Agency Operations here at Southern Insurance. He had been a licensed agent since 1985 and a local Independent Agent since 1987. Keith was married to Charlotte Godwin and they had three children. He was a member of Family Worship Center and was the prior President of the Thomasville Exchange Club.
Even though things are not quite as lively around here, his Spirit will remain with us. He was kind-hearted and had a laugh that was unforgettable. We will always love and miss our partner and friend. Thanks for all the memories!!
